What is the deal with Mac users wanting to install Vista? If you have an Intel Mac and want Vista, before you try to decide which of the 73 versions you should buy, stop, take a breather, and ask yourself “Why?” Aside from the “Vista is a rip-off of Tiger” argument, it’s still Windows people. It’s just wrapped in a shinier, prettier package. I’m not sure how well this metaphor will translate for men, but it’s like getting a Tiffany’s box, opening and finding poo inside. Just because we can run Vista doesn’t mean that we have to. I have friends and family that own Intel Macs and run Windows, but it is strictly for work, not pleasure. All I ask, before you spend at least $99 upgrading ($159 if you want all of the “neat” features Vista offers, like Aero), just remember Leopard will cost $130 for the whole version.
