The MacBook Pro needs a Face-Lift

I love the MacBook Pro. It was the beautiful design of the PowerBook that inspired me to take a closer look at Apple (that and Brad’s constant sales pitch). I discovered how amazing and intuitive OSX is. It was a wonderfully journey that started with a 1 GHz G4 12 inch iBook and a 20 gig 4th generation iPod. It has lead me to a 2 GHz Core Duo 15 inch MacBook Pro and more iPods then I care to disclose. I always wanted a MacBook Pro (nee PowerBook). The question is, when is Apple going to give the MacBook Pro a face-lift? Apple re-invented the iBook with the MacBook. They introduced some very interesting and unique design features with the MacBook, two of my favorites being the new design of the keyboard and the latch-free magnets that keep your notebook shut. These are just two things I would love to see in a new MacBook Pro. Apple should also consider offering the MacBook Pro in a Black Aluminum Finish. So far they have had enormous success with the introduction of Black iPods as well as Black MacBooks. I think there are plenty of Apple fans out there that long for the days when the Pismo was king.
